Replacing our current e-bike supplier — fat-tire electric bikes, 10,500 units/year

Our current e-bike supplier has had inconsistent battery quality and motor failures reported by our dealers over the last few release cycles, so we're qualifying an alternative manufacturer for our core fat-tire e-bike line. Product: 250W rear hub motor, 48V removable lithium battery, hydraulic disc brakes, front and rear suspension, 7-speed drivetrain, LCD display, steel frame, 20" fat tires. We need consistent battery capacity and motor reliability across batches — that was the specific failure point with our current supplier. Volume: about 10,500 units per year, released in four call-offs. The switch is about reliability and warranty claim rates, not price — we're already paying a premium for our current line and still seeing failures. Requirements: CE conformity and EN 15194 documentation are mandatory for our market, plus your quality control process for battery cell testing and motor burn-in before shipment. Packaging: single-unit export carton suitable for palletised ocean freight, unit weight and carton dimensions declared for container load planning. Delivery: DAP our Gothenburg warehouse.
