Second supplier wanted for compression sofa beds — capacity backup, 1,200 pcs/year

Our current manufacturer for compression sofa beds is running near capacity and can no longer guarantee the lead times we need during our busier ordering periods, so we're qualifying a second supplier to run in parallel rather than depend on a single factory. Product: 3-seater compression/folding sofa bed for small-footprint apartments and extended-stay units, solid wood frame, high-resilience foam cushions, removable fabric cover, folds down for space-saving storage. We'd want the same three length options our current line offers — roughly 1.4m, 1.7m and 2.0m — so we can keep our size range consistent across both suppliers. Volume: about 1,200 pieces per year to start, split across the two smaller lengths mostly, released in batches rather than one shipment — this supplier would take the overflow our current factory can't cover. Requirements: CE conformity is mandatory, and we'd want confirmation of frame material (kiln-dried solid wood preferred) and foam density, since consistency between our two suppliers matters for warranty claims down the line. Packaging: flat or compressed carton suitable for parcel and LTL freight, unit weight and carton dimensions declared upfront so we can plan warehouse space — our current supplier ships around 50kg per unit boxed. Delivery: FOB origin, we handle ocean freight through our own forwarder.
